Locks and keys

If the keys to your premises go missing or you have reason to believe that an unathorised person has a duplicate key, we’ll cover you for the cost of replacing the locks and keys to your premises.

Receptacles and clothing

You’re covered against the loss or damage of any safe, strong room, strongbox, till, cash register or cash box, and any franking machines. We also cover clothing belonging to you or your principal, partner, director, member or employee, which is lost or damaged as a result of theft, or attempted theft.

Skeleton keys

You’re covered against theft, where access is gained by the use of a skeleton key or similar device.

Loss or damage to property due to or caused by

• Your principal, partner, director, member or employee being dishonest.
• A shortage, due to an error or omission.
• An incident which is covered under the king’s ‘Fidelity’ cover, or any fidelity insurance policy.

As well as loss, or damage to

• Property which is damaged while in your car.
• Your safe and strong room keys.
• Unlocked or unattended strong rooms.

• Personal accident.
• Riot and strike.
